It was a simple vanilla doughnut with chocolate frosting, but my husband couldn't wait to get his hands on an actual gluten free fried doughnut. When he took a bite, he closed his eyes and exclaimed "Holy Sh*t"- that said it all! I had to take a bite to see what the overhype was. I myself was extremely impressed with the texture and flavor of this doughnut. Unlike most gluten free pastries that I've tried, I couldn't tell that these were gluten free. I was extremely impressed since I had attempted fried doughnuts once before with little success. Now that I learned that the craft could be perfected as such, I decided to give it another go!
